Description
Volunteers will assist UT’s Brackenridge Field Lab with official surveys to document the flora and fauna in and around Schulle Creek in an effort to restore it to its natural state. Attendees will document findings using iNaturalist and learning about the history and importance of the field station along the way.
- 8 am - 10 pm: Morning, afternoon and evening shifts are available during the BioBlitz
- 12 - 1 pm: Lunchtime talk on the value and history of Brackenridge Field Lab with Dr. Larry Gilbert
- 8 - 10 pm: Blacklighting for nocturnal insect collection
Volunteers can participate in one or multiple shifts. Participation in blacklighting and the talk are both optional.
