Join Resource Recovery, Staff Council, and Landscape Services for an afternoon of service, collaboration, and impact while we clean up Waller Creek. The cleanup will occur at two locations on campus, and will include a plant giveaway for participants. Students, staff and faculty are welcome to join the cleanup at either location, but note that the resources available will differ! If you plan on participating, please wear closed-toed shoes (required) and long pants (recommended).
12-2 pm on San Jacinto between 23rd & 24th Street: This student-focused location will have volunteer “shifts” starting every 30 minutes and tables hosted by Resource Recovery, the Campus Environmental Center, and Longhorns Don’t Litter to learn more about waste, consumption, and litter.
12-1 pm in the Dell Medical District: This staff-focused location will include a brief networking session, and participants are encouraged to sign up ahead of time. Specific location will be provided as the event gets closer.
