Need a stapler? Hosted by the Office of Sustainability in partnership with Surplus Property, the Office Supply Swap is a chance for UT faculty and staff to get free office supplies for your workplace! Doing some summer cleaning? Bring your unneeded supplies for others to use. Any unclaimed supplies will go to UT Surplus Property at the end of the event. No large furniture, documents, or inventoried items (e.g. computers), please. To help identify inventoried items, please note that inventoried items should have a barcode tag. These include computer CPUs (Some Apple ones look like monitors but have the data processing as part of the unit as well), tablets, cell phones, cameras and other items of higher value. An example tag is below:
Campus event planners - In addition to office supplies, there will be a section for event supplies. Bring your unwanted event-related supplies and pick up pre-loved supplies for your fall events!
In partnership with UT Microfarm, we will also be accepting seed donations for the campus UT Seed Library. Bring any extra veggie, flower, or native plant seeds to the Swap to donate and help increase student access to gardening.
Have batteries or ink/toner cartridges you need to recycle? Don't bring them to the Swap, but check out this page for where to go with these items. You can also sign-up here to be notified about future battery recycling events.
