UT-Austin is now a member of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council (SPLC). Membership provides all UT-Austin staff, faculty, and students with access to an array of sustainable purchasing resources, community discussion boards, and working groups. Join our member orientation session to learn all about the many resources available to SPLC members and to get your questions answered. Please register in advance to receive the Zoom link. This session is open to the entire UT community, but we especially encourage staff who routinely make departmental purchases to attend.
If you haven't already, be sure register with the SPLC using your UT email address to gain full access to the member resources. For SPLC, sustainability includes social, economic, and environmental stewardship. Sustainable purchasing is purchasing that builds healthy communities, economies, and environments all along local and global supply chains.
