Resource Recovery, Green Labs, and Environmental Health & Safety accept batteries generated at UT Austin (in an office, dorm, classroom, lab, etc.) depending on the type and location generated. Please view this flowchart to determine where your batteries should be disposed.
Resource Recovery will be collecting single-use alkaline batteries generated at UT Austin (in an office, dorm, classroom, lab, etc.) on Wednesday, April 13 from 8 am to 2 pm at the following locations:
- SSB G1.408AB (next to north exit)
- PCL 1.102B
- Commons Conference Center (TCB) Greeting Desk at JJ Pickle Research Campus
