This time, we’re exploring the powerful role of fire in the Texas landscape — from its part in maintaining healthy ecosystems to the tools and practices that help communities live safely with it.

- Engaging demonstrations with Wildflower Center staff and Austin Fire experts
- Insights into the three pillars of The Cohesive Strategy: Fire Adapted Communities, Fire Resilient Landscapes, and Effective Firefighting
- A look at Wildflower Center fire research, including videos and demonstrations about prescribed burns
- Information from the Travis County F.L.A.M.E. Initiative and Firewise USA programs
- Up-close views of specialized vehicles and equipment used in prescribed fires
