A student leader at Cornell University is organizing a free, virtual event spotlighting a breadth of unique climate careers in collaboration with the Wild Center, an environmental nonprofit in the Adirondacks. UT students are invited to attend this unique virtual opportunity April 18 10:00am-1:00pm to meet professionals across various green job sectors.
The panel will feature carefully-curated, decorated speakers from diverse industries, including an Emmy-nominated CBS reporter, an Earthjustice lawyer, a D.C. policy educator, and the founder of a climate-artistry career agency. Attendees will participate in live Q&A, directly submit questions for the 30-minute “Current Events in Climate” panel, and have the opportunity to connect with professionals after the event, both through email and one-on-one sessions. This will be an enriching opportunity for any person considering a future in the climate space!
