UT Energy Week is an annual event that connects students, researchers, faculty, energy professionals, and industry leaders across disciplines and sectors to build community, support energy literacy and education, facilitate strategic partnerships, and advance research.

We are so excited to invite you to the CEC End-of-Year Celebration! We are incredibly appreciative of your support of the CEC and would love to celebrate this past year’s accomplishments with you.

We are excited to invite you to participate in this year’s Earth Month Kick-Off - Taking Care of Texas event, which will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 11 am to 1 pm at the Littlefield Honors Quad hosted by University Housing and Dining. This Texas State Fair style celebration will inspire UT students to engage with and learn about sustainability initiatives on campus and beyond. This will kick off all Earth Month events and activities across campus while bringing attention to the University's Housing and Dining sustainability efforts.

Save the Date for the Sustainability Staff Lunch, a Staff Council- Office of Sustainability Collaboration. Wednesday, April 8th 11:30-1:00. Event registration opens on March 16th. A conversation about how staff can maintain sustainable habits and values when cost of living and big-picture pressures seem to make it harder. Bob Duke is engaging, thoughtful, and great at connecting mindset, behavior, and real‑world choices about how we make decisions aligned with personal values and what makes sustainable follow‑through challenging or possible.

This brief training equips event planners with the basics to reduce contamination and ensure successful composting at events. Completion is required for staff and faculty who want composting services.
