The University of Texas at Austin is one of the 361 most environmentally responsible colleges according to The Princeton Review. The education services company known for its test prep and tutoring services, books and college rankings features UT Austin in the 2016 edition of its free book, The Princeton Review Guide to 361 Green Colleges.
The Princeton Review chose the schools for this seventh annual edition of its green guide based on data from the company's 2015-16 survey of hundreds of four-year colleges concerning the schools' commitments to the environment and sustainability.
“We are honored to be recognized for our sustainability efforts on this campus,” says Jim Walker, director of sustainability. Inclusion in Princeton’s green guide reinforces our commitment to make UT Austin a national leader in sustainability.”
