Earth Month Redux

Justin Hays and UTea

Earth Month 2019 at The University of Texas at Austin was momentous, fun, and educational. We are already looking forward to the 50th Earth Day in April 2020! Keep a look out for events related to this celebration in the upcoming months.

In the meantime, we've ecomplied an album of images from signature events that happened this April, including Sustainability on Tap, the Earth Month & Biodiversity Day Tabling Extravaganza, the Waller Creek Clean Up, and more. The work of Landscape Services, like that of Justin Hayes (pictured here), was especially popular during the annual tabling event where students chose campus-grown plants and "UTea" (compost tea bottled in recycled plastics and made by Hayes from rainwater and coffee-grounds from local cafes).

If you have photos from these events, we want to know what you see! Share  on social media, tagging @TexasSustainability for Facebook, @KeepTexasGreen for Twitter, and @texassustainability for Instagram.
